Low Impact Strength Training in The Cabin

pilates_barre_fusion_fitness

Our signature movement method inspired by…

PILATES. BARRE. YOGA. DANCE.

Low impact movement has emerged as an alternative to heavy weight lifting and HIIT. In our eyes, all movement is a good movement (with proper form of course) and for some, low impact feels best for their body. We developed a music-driven method that draws from the principles of Pilates, Barre, Yoga and Dance. While most of our LIST™ classes are heated, we also offer non-heated!

LIST™ is a form of strength training using light resistance and tools such as Bala Bangles, Bala Rings, 2lb, 3lb and 5lb hand weights, bands, Pilates balls, and sliders.

Read our LIST™ class descriptions below.

A LIST™

Using aerobic low impact movements, this interval training class style will elevate the heart rate with swift, cardio-intensive movements. Using a variety of equipment and full body exercises, this well rounded workout will leave you sweaty, glistening and ready to come back for more.

B LIST™

B LIST is a form of low impact resistance training that has you moving to the beat. We use a variety of equipment to build strength and sculpt the body without using high impact movements. Much like a spin class, this class is programmed to uplifting, high energy music. Get ready to sweat.

A+B LIST™

This class combines B LIST moving you to the beat and A LIST, using aerobic intervals to build endurance and strength. This full body conditioning style class is the best of both worlds. This energizing workout class hits all muscle groups with low impact movements and light resistance.

CABIN TABATA

A crowd fav — in The Cabin. Working in Tabata sets (20s work, 10s rest) for 45 minutes, this quick & efficient full body sweat session alternates between strength & cardio, using a dynamic combo of low impact movements and light resistance equipment.

C LIST™

Core and conditioning – is there a better duo? Staying true to our signature LIST method, we pair core-based movements with conditioning movements to rev the heart rate and build one of our most important muscle groups: the core. This class is a challenge, but a crowd favourite nonetheless.

LET’S MOVE.
